That’s exactly how we’re feeling after our @FRIENDSNYC’s Pop-up Pizza Party last Thursday. If you missed out on the fun, let us recap for you real quick:
Tons of peeps came out and held it down on August 23 at FRIENDSNYC 56 Bogart St. location from 6-9 p.m. Ya homies here at FRIENDSNYC sought out the tastiest pizza parlor - HEY, @archiespizza, our delicious neighborhood New England Greek-style pizza joint - who demoed FREE, delicious shizz All. Night. Long… JK, we kicked everyone out at 9 p.m. Sorry not sorry!
FRIENDSNYC co-owners Emma Kadar-Penner and Mary Meyer label these special events as “Natty Thursdays,” a nod at our favorite “nat”-ural wine distributor, MFW Wine Co. These monthly neighborhood hang outs provide shoppers (that means you!) with a free boozy element + a discount deal. August was the month of free wine and pizza, plus an insanely good discount on vintage tops, bottoms, dresses and shoes. As music blasted and energy lifted, we understand why visitors and locals alike perused our racks both in and outside, looking for eclectic and authentic pieces to wear. And after all that Mercury Retrograde madness, a good time was definitely deserved!
