FRIENDS FIT is a series that will focus on free wellness and fitness classes via Instagram Live, starting with Pilates with Tati on August 5th at 1 pm! 

Join us on July 14 at 6pm EST the first edition of our @thebrooklynbookworm x @friendsnyc book club! Alexis @thebrooklynbookworm will be in conversation with Friends owners, Mary and Emma, on @friendsnyc Instagram live. Our first book The Queen, by Josh Levin, is a true crime story about Linda Taylor, who committed extensive welfare fraud in the 1970s. Although Taylor pursued a life of crime and welfare scams, she also became a tool for the Reagan administration to discredit social programs in the USA and to demonize poverty-stricken Black women and poor people of color.
